Whatever it takes to make the customer happy, Henry is there to make sure his team achieves it.
About the Expert
Henry Darby developed his appreciation for architecture and homes of distinction from his hometown of historic Charleston, SC. After moving to Georgia, he was hired by Atlanta’s premier homebuilders where he learned from the best. Henry was a quick learner and in no time the owner gave him the opportunity to build homes of his own. By 2002, Henry was able to take what he learned and create his own business. Since then, he has built spectacular homes in Fulton, Dekalb, West Cobb, Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Brookhave, Buckhead, and Lake Oconee.
Henry without question, chose Lake Oconee to plant his business. He always had his lake house there, so when deciding where to raise his children, Lake Oconee was an easy choice for him and his family.
Outside of his career, Henry enjoys martial arts, golfing and, of course, spending as much time as possible with his family. He has truly mastered balancing his career and being present for his wife and children. He has two girls who are cheerleaders, so he’s always traveling with them. And when it comes to building, his wife’s opinion matters too, so he always makes sure to get her vision.
License and Achievements
Before there was licensing in Georgia, Henry was a licensed general contractor “C” and Certified Professional Homebuilder. Now, he has become a Licensed Georgia Residential General Contractor. He is also a member of both the Lake Oconee Builders Association and National Association of Homebuilders. In addition, Henry was named Georgia Businessman of the Year by the NRCC.
