I grew up in a small town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. My father is a Georgia boy, and my mother is from Venezuela. My parents taught my brother and me to appreciate the world around us.
Just like my mother, I have creativity pumping through my veins. As a little girl, she always encouraged me to color outside the lines and to design whatever I imagined. I attribute my eternal love for design and art to her – she is truly an inspiration.
Growing up on a farm and in the mountains, we spent a lot of time outside exploring. Even after moving away, the elements in nature continue to inspire me and I love to incorporate that in my floral arrangements.
I consider each arrangement as a work of art, the vessel and snips are my tools, and the flowers are my medium. My passion for florals grew while studying Fine Art and Photography in college when I started working for a shop on Lake Oconee. While working there, I quickly realized that I wanted to pursue florals & design professionally and didn’t look back. After getting married to my husband in 2015, we moved to Athens, where I freelanced for various floral designers in North Georgia.
In early 2019, we presented with the opportunity to take over the space that was once Always Always Flowers. The dream of having a shop with my mother was finally coming to fruition. The doors of Perryander Studio opened in August 2019.
Along with floral arrangements and planted compositions, we added home decor, accessories, and an assortment of jewelry into the mix. At Perryander Studio, we strive to be the “one-stop-shop” for all of those occasions – whether it’s for an anniversary, a hostess gift, or a “just because” to brighten someone’s day.
Our style is an organic/garden style with a European influence. All of our arrangements are custom made to order – we use a variety of items to create unique arrangements full of movements and textures. We enjoy creating those relationships and connections with our clients to ensure we create something special for them. When possible, Perryander Studio incorporates items grown locally in the area – it’s one way of supporting small, and we are beyond grateful for our local growers.
Perryander Studio is a full-service flower shop as well as a home, decor, and gift shop. We are available for local deliveries, corporate & private events, and weddings. Perryander Studio specializes in organic, garden-style arrangements.
