In 1993, Anita Stephens joined the real estate industry at the age of twenty-three, she started as a solo agent, built a team, and quickly escalated to the top 1% of agents worldwide with RE/MAX. Shortly after, Anita shares that ‘God called her into ministry.’ Though it took some time, Anita guided her team to new positions, put her real estate license into a holding company, and walked away from a multimillion-dollar business to pursue a different type of service. After her ministry season, Anita believed that “God provided that swift kick that she needed” to get back into real estate when her daughter, Bre, asked for help getting started in the industry. Anita agreed, and soon after, the mother and daughter duo founded Simply Stephens Real Estate. Anita reports, “it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Working with my family is a huge blessing.” Anita and Bre have both served on the Keller Williams Associate Leadership Council, and Bre currently holds the position of President of Keller Williams Young Professionals in the Atlanta Chapter.
Only five years back into production, as they have served Northeast Georgia and metro Atlanta, the team is not only doing well, they’re growing. Anita’s daughter-in-law, Amalea, joined the team over a year ago as their Executive Assistant and Closing Coordinator. Bre is an expert in creatively navigating the buying process for each client’s needs, and Anita’s strong marketing and negotiating skills are key in helping sellers realize well over 100% of their list price. The team reports that they hit $10+ million in sales last year, ranking them #2 in the office and top 10% at Keller Williams, and 80% of their business comes from repeat customers and referrals. They credit this success to their work ethic and heart, adding what sets them apart is “a passion for people and doing what’s right.” Clients return time after time because they know that Anita, Bre, and Amalea genuinely care about these individuals and view them as apart of our family. Not surprisingly, what the Simply Stephens team loves most about their job is serving people through all of the fun and crazy seasons of life.
